When God answers prayer it is always according to His will and purposes. So, it stands to reason that if we find in Scripture the knowledge of His will concerning prayer, and the subject of prayer, then the believer can pray effectively by faith, and receive by faith that which he has asked. As the believe depends upon the Spirit of God to lead him in the Scriptures, so will He lead him in effective prayer.
